<VV> rims and tires for an early coupe

Im just about ready to get my 64 coupe on the road, and need some imput on rims and tires.  I purchased a set of rims that are 14x6 .  They are Boyd by Cragar 4 bolt and they go on the the car with no problem.    The back space seems to be about 3.5 inches.  Am I going to be able to use these rims, and if so what is a good 14 inch tire size to put on them? Thanks for any help you can give me.
