<VV> Convert rear armrest panels?

Just re-covering my '65 Corsa convert armrest panels. My original chrome 
strips had been cut by some DPO to install speakers in the panels. I 
have replacement strips that look nice but due to rust there are hardly 
any attaching clips (bendable thingies) left.

Has anyone figured a way to reattach these trim strips? Is there a repro 
available?
