<VV> On imbecils and ... letter to moderator of column

Perhaps, as members of a car club who are more concerned with the families
involved in this tragedy, we can post our own response.

Does it have to be the BoD ? (If they will fine, that would be great of
them, but if not, we can ?)

BTW,

How did "Car enthusiast" know it was a Cobalt ? It's not mentioned in the
article. Maybe he was a friend of the drunk, or another drunk who needs to
blame anyone but himself ?

I didn't post another response, but I just sent a letter to the moderator of
the column, asking them to remove that insensitive response.

(Previously, a well-meaning neighbor of the victim offered to help the
family and naively posted her phone number.
I asked the moderator to redact the phone number before someone took
advantage of her good nature, and they removed it.)

My letter to the moderator :
------------------------------
Dear moderator :
Please remove the insensitive remarks made by 'Car enthusiast' from this
post, in the name of anything decent.
For him to blame that poor man's wife's death on his choice of cars is
downright mean-spirited to me and I'm sure, to other readers as well.
It may just be that he was a friend of the drunk, or one himself, to blame
the driver for that terrible tragedy.
The article does not say the other car was a Cobalt SS? How did he know that
?
------------------------------
** Thank you. Your comment has been sent for approval
------------------------------

Let's see if they remove it ?
