Hey, gang, drop in to Jay Leno's "Jay's Garage" web site for a neat
video feature with John Fitch. Yes, there is Corvair content.

While you're in Jay's garage, check out the T87 Tatra; air-cooled, engine in
the rear, front sheetmetal reminiscent of a VW Type I; if anyone's heard talk
about a book by Julius Mackerle describing the engineering of an air-cooled
engine, this is where it's coming from; Mackerle studied under Hans Ledwinka,
who first developed the air-cooled engine for Tatra in 1923; Mackerle became
chief engineer at Tatra after Ledwinka was jailed for cooperating with the
Nazis during WWII. Tatra isn't very well-known in this country but they sued
VW and Dr. Porsche after the war, claiming that the VW was an infringement of
 Tatra's patents---and Tatra won.
