<VV> crosswinds and corvairs

I was hoping the front air dam might help, I'll have to get one in the near future. I love the way they look anyway =).

Right now I've been keeping the spare tire in the trunk as ballast, maybe I need something heavier. The problem is I drive to work every day with this car at 70mph for 30 minutes and relatively high crosswinds are common.

Thanks!

Ray

  Ray,
Does it have the air dam in front? I think the "Corsa Enterprises" spoiler on the front might help, as well as a little bit of ballast in the trunk...
I keep a bit of stuff in the trunk on mine, tools and such, so it's not a great concern until 25MPH+ winds hit... so I just slow down and drive a bit more carefully.
  Good luck!

    Greetings folks,

I was wondering if any of you could offer any advice on preventing a late model corvair coupe from getting blown around too much in crosswinds. My car handles great and has recently had a four wheel alignment etc., but in high winds I feel the car gets blown around way too much on the highway. Are there any fixes for this out there?

    Thanks!
