Jim,

That's why I prefaced my question with that thought. However, as I
suspected, a number of people insisted on getting into discussing it, and
what I have posted since has been merely to shed more light on the subject.

The whole idea in asking the question in the first place was to try to get
the basic question to a democratic vote of the membership, something that
rightfully belongs to the whole membership of CORSA, and NOT to just the
board of directors. It may be the board's place to make executive
decisions, but it's the inalienable right of the membership to question
their decisions, and to override them when they go against the will of the
membership. And THAT is why I feel the question SHOULD be asked. CORSA was
NOT set up as a dictatorship, it was meant to be a democratic republic, and
open to membership debates and input.

But as is so often the case, as I so often find to be, there seems to be a
number of people who like shooting the messenger. Dare I ask why some
people are so dead set against legitimate discussions?

-Mark (full of bullet holes, even before this came up)
