<VV> radio removal

Ray,

Shine a light up under the dash and take a look.  There should be a short
metal bracket bolted from the radio to the dash, right behind the ashtray.

     What is the secret to removing the radio from a late model corvair?  I
removed the knobs and see no nuts behind them... what is holding the radio
in place and how do I get it out of the car?
