I had a buddy who traveled, used lots of rental cars and always parked in 
malls (for his job).  He was there until closing and the exit would often be 
other than the one where he entered.  He took to always ordering a red car. 
That helped but did not fully solve the problem.  So, he started tying a 
balloon to the antenna in order to help him locate his red rental at the end 
of the day.  This was, of course, in the days before the profusion of 
retractable antennae.  I've not seen him in at least 20 years.  Hopefully, 
he is happily retired and no longer has that problem.
