Bought the tool.  Found a bolt at the playground with my kids.  What the 
heck, before using the helicoil figured I would try the bolt again.  
Went in easily.  Put the bracket on, setting this bolt first.  And all 
worked fine.

Guess just having helicoil near the car made it work.
