Speaking of hinges, does anyone have a good source for such a piano hinge
that can be screwed or bolted on? (I'm not a welder)

Thanks,

Bill,
I am thinking about putting a hinge on the front (piano) of the cover and
use gas shocks to hold it up. Will have to fabricate a latch to hold it
shut. Then if you are out and about, should that fan belt break/come off
then you don't need to mess with a bunch of screws in the rain.
