Just an update and thanks to folks who weighed in on the stalling Yukon problem. It turns out that we had about -4 things piling on at once. We had a dirty fuel filter, weak spark plug wires, slightly worn plugs and two failing pre-cat oxygen sensors (there are 2 more after the cats). And, it gave me an excuse to purchase a good diagnostics tool, which was cheaper than a trip to the dealer. For those who own a modern GM V8 be prepared to pay about $30 each for 8 coils, $30 for wires, and about $100 each for oxygen sensors in the near future.
