along with the connector...it handles too much current for the design of  the 
connector along with a couple other places on ends of the main  harness.  
look for discoloration at the connector..signs of high resistance  heat.  dealing 
with it neatly and correctly may be a challenge.  if  stock looks are not a 
problem , get a replacement connector from flaps ,solder  the connections and 
use heat shrink. if looks are a problem , you can get the  connector parts from 
clarks or napa , cut them off close , solder after crimping  , then put them 
back in a new housing.  sounds easy???
