Hello Gang,

I was asked via direct email if the fire at Universal Studios will have any 
impact on the studio tour during our visit.

I am informed that less than 1 percent of Universal Studios studio area was 
damaged by the fire.  The studio area, amusement/ride area and City Walk area 
were all up and running normally the day after the fire.  The studio tour may 
or may not take quests past the fire area on the day we visit.  This is hard to 
say because the route the tour takes varies depending on filming schedules.  
For those interested, I am informed that other than the day of the fire, the 
production of movies and TV shows continue as usual.
