i used outboard fuel tanks so gas supply could be changed without shutdown.
it was also safer away from the heat. i checked oil every 2 tanks , about
12 hours running.
now i have a fully automatic system on propane...what a luxury!, fuel
doesn't spoil , oil stays nice , fast automatic switchover , super quiet,,yada yada.
some of the cheaper generators need to have an isobar or good ups system
between them and any computer related equipment. this keeps the supplied
power spike and surge free etc etc.
regards, tim colson
