Christine will slip out of gear tempararily on a hard right turn if the fluid level is a little low. The problem doesn't happen on a hard left turn or if the fluid is a little above the full mark. One of these days I'm going to drop the pan and see if the intake screen at the bottom of the pan is installed correctly.

If your tranny seems to loose function on a fairly tight radius off
ramp, sort of like it is sucking air, would that indicate a low fluid
level or a need for a windage tray? Please, no 'check the dipstick'
responses -- that really won't answer the question of, "Can you corner a
PG hard enough to loose fluid uptake?"

Thanks,

Bill Strickland
