<VV> Front strut rods

Underground has used ones listed for $35 (last year). Being from the
west coast, they may have threads in the middle. Not having threads in
the middle does not affect the nuts as this is where the bushings ride.
Don't use rods that are reduced in diameter from rust.

Clarks does list new ones. C634R.

If you can get the nuts off without destroying the threads on your rods,
just change the bushings. Let the nuts soak in your choice of penetrant
for a few days. Even here in the east I can usually get the nuts off and
just install new bushings. But not always! Sometimes there is not much
rod left under the bushings. No threads is one thing. 1/4" diameter of
remaining rod is another.

These threads are your caster adjustment. You need a front end alignment
after changing. Get both nuts on each rod loose.
