Is their a make and model # for the speaker(s) for a 1966 Corvair Monza Cpe.
Trying to get a couple reconed. Can't make out the writing .

Craig replies;
The original speaker was a special-made Delco 10-ohm unit.  There are
several vendors who can recone it including Fred Bybee, a CORSA member.
Occasionally, Corvair Underground sends a group out for recone and they sell
out quickly, according to a conversation I had with Lon a while back. You
might check with CU to see if they currently have any.

It's possible to substitute an 8-ohm 6x9 with a good bit of modification,
but don't try to use a 4-ohm; that would be hard for the output transistor.
