Clark's Corvair Parts sells square washers that fit Powerglide pans to distribute the load over a bigger area. Not sure if those would also fit engine oil pans but the theory is right. Prevent the dimples from happening in the first place. Or put cast aluminum pans on and that solves the problem. Clark Hartzel
