the Spyder (and standard dash) arn't very bright. Not sure how common this is, but my 58 VW, my 69 Skylark and the 63 Monza are all much dimmer panel lights than my newer cars. And the 49 Ford I had a few years ago needed a flashlight to see the speedometer at night Mike in Michigan --
