There ARE car club lists that are "Closed" only to members of that club.
You want to be part of that list, you join the club.

V V has always been an "open" list so people can see what the Club can do
for them.

Of course many come on, ask their questions, get their answers, and
disappear without CORSA getting a nickel from them. Others become members.

It's the same thing.

If you go to the Riviera Owners Association website
www.rivowners.org, it is a "Split Site".

Pictures and club information is on the "open" part of the site.
Vendors, member dealers, Classified ads, and other information is "Closed",
to members only who have a password, or can get one by e-mailing the
National Office with their Member number.

There are NO signs that the ROA is going out of business, and they seem to
have more members than CORSA.

Now HOW CAN THAT BE? If you don't offer to let people feed off of you for
free, there can be no new members--

That is if you believe Ron.
