<VV> Rear coil springs

My '61 Monza wore the rear tires to the cords on the
inside of the tire. The center and outer tire still
has lots of tread on them. The inner tread (what was
left of it) wore in a cupped pattern. Can this be
caused by worn rear springs? And if so, can spring
spacers help the problem. I am reasonably sure that
the wear is happening on the rear, but I have rotated
tires in the 10 years that I have owned the car. It
only gets driven to cruise ins, and CORSA events.
Thanks for everyone's input,
Dan

61 Monza 4door
65 Monza 4 door
62 spyder coupe (apart in garage)
60 4door (basket case to be restored one day)
64 4door (1/2 owner yet to be restored)
