Dan, 
Inside wear like that is normally caused by too much negative camber. So  
first go park in a large level parking lot so that you can walk around the car  
from a distance of about 30 feet. Now walk around the car and eyeball the  
tires. The rears should both be either perfectly vertical or slightly tilted  so 
that the tops are closer together than the bottoms. If not you need to find  
out why. Could be weak rear springs. Or could be worn or loose suspension  parts 
But get it checked. The fronts, too, should be perfectly vertical or  tilted 
slightly with the tops of the tires closer together than the bottoms  when 
pointed straight ahead. 
If none of that works out, drive about 30 mph with some friend  following 
about three car lengths behind. Have him watch how your  rear tires react when 
you then rapidly accelerate to 50-60. The tires should  remain vertical as 
before.
 
Cupping is normally caused by an unbalanced tire or bad shocks.
