I just completed a compression test on all six of my engine cylinders
because the car started to run rough and it was spitting gas out of the left hand
carb.To my dismay I found one reading at 0,one at 30 and one at 60,all on the
l/h side. The r/h side was reading 90 in all three cylinders. The car was
running fine up until today and then things went south. My first question is what
would cause the low numbers on the left side and are the r/h ones serviceable?

Hello, Lloyd, is it.
No compression should go below 100 without encountering a serious problem.
And your RH three are bad too. So you have 6 bad cylinders.

So I would very carefully check to know whether either your cam gear has
slipped or that the crank gear has slipped. To me it looks like the problem is
affecting all six cylinders.
