One thing that I haven't found in the books yet is the typical oil
pressures. I'm considering installing a gauge. Does anyone know off the top
of their heads what oil pressure range is correct with a stock oil pump?

Dave,
If I remember correctly, the 140/145 CID engines were limited to 35 PSI and
the LM engines to 40 PSI. But remember that this is a limit. This limit is
basically controlled by the relief spring which can be somewhat collapsed or
stretched as desired to adjust the pressure. Actual pressure will be less at
lower engines speeds all the way down to near zero fro nearly worn out engines
at idle speeds. The pressure snap switch is rated at about 4 psi.
Regards,
Bob Helt
