Any oil galley can be tapped for oil pressure -- use your bare block to
locate these possible sights -- remember, the1960 location revealed that
the senders did not like the heat and leaked rather badly. Or, be like
a Fiero and pipe the oil to the sender and discover that the vibration
will tend to crack the pipe.

I removed the sending unit (close to the alternator belt and pulley) and
replaced it with a 4" (approximate) length of pre-fab threaded pipe from the
hardware store; capped this with a tee, installed the sender for an electric
gage; put a plug in the other end of the tee for future additions. It stayed
there without any trouble due to vibration for over 30 years.
