<VV> using std shift motor with powerglide

my luck with that type conversion in fc's has not been good.  lack of  low 
end torque with the 9891 cam in a stick engine is very evident with a  
powerglide.  it is not as bad in a car though.  but..if you go the  other way..using a 
pg engine in a stick car , you will notice the difference  right away!
so if you are careful and use the distributor from a pg   , or at  least 
change the weights and springs you should like it ok.  none of this  applies , for 
some reason with a 95hp motor. (same cam and distrib for  both)
this is from situations that i have done in the past.
