When your Corvair oil pan rusts through from the outside, then you know
you've done it right!

Another 2 cents.... I had the engine in my Corvair resealed last winter....
new pushrod tubes, viton O-rings, pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, oil
filler cap gasket. Added over 1000 miles since the work was done. Hasn¹t
leaked a drop since.
