<VV> Combustion efficiency & exhaust emissions

Last year my tired Mazda MX-6 moved back to Austin and failed HC at
somewhere over 300 ppm. The inspector suggested a product called
"Guaranteed to Pass". I was very skeptical, but desperate, so I sprung for
the $8.
Basically, you fill the tank, pour in the bottle of magic juice, drive until
the tank is nearly empty, refill with your usual gas, and boogie over to the
inspection station before the spell wears off.

My HC dropped to 50ppm!

for my vairs are: HC - 300 ppm and CO - 3.00 %, verified once a year for
cars and twice a year for pickups (Rampside). Next year will be twice a year
for all pre 1993 vehicles without allowing driving them on peak hours.

or newer, emissions tests ?... I've been driving Corvairs most of the time
since 1968 and wouldn't like to change my driving habits. Don't like driving
other cars but Vairs only !!
