<VV> Just a short note... no Corvair

Hey guys and gals,
I just want to take a minute and wish everyone a safe and happy  Thanksgiving 
day... I'll be driving up to my mom's, and then up to Cheryl's  parents 
place, and I'll be driving back solo, about a 400 mile round trip...  Cheryl likes 
to spend the long weekend with them, and I don't blame her...  someone has to 
be here to feed the critters.
About two weeks ago my evening instructor at the community college where  I'm 
taking my CADD classes passed away suddenly. She was just 38, and a person I  
would consider a close friend. She started teaching there my first semester, 
and  we hit it off real fast. She was never married, and had no kids. She 
developed  bacterial meningitis from a strep infection, but didn't realize it. I 
had talked  to her Wednesday night (Nov 12) at her house and asked her if she 
needed  anything, she said no, I'll be in class Thursday.... she was brain dead 
by the  next morning... the family removed her from life support that Sunday, 
and we  buried her that Tuesday.
This woman's passing hit me pretty hard, since she was fine just the day  
before... and her being 3 years younger than me doesn't help...
So without sounding like a big sap, I just want to tell you guys how  
important you are to me... so, while we take this day to gather around family,  just 
know that you guys are also my family, and I'm extremely thankful to have  
each and every one of you in my life.
