Hey All,
I am on my way to Denver this weekend to pick up the first of the 2 cars I
bought. I will attempt to drive the 1962 Monza wagon. The seller, Jim Reich,
swears it was a very good running car when he parked it in 2000.It has a 1965
"RD" engine along with a 4 speed My intent is to go up with 2
rebuilt carbs,
6 spark plugs, new points/condensor, a new seal and filter for the fuel
sender unit,a new battery, new fan belt, and a fresh oil change. I feel
confident I
can bring her back to Durango (about 350 miles) with not too much trouble.
Wish me luck. Then I will figure out how to get the other car, a 1966 Corsa
Coupe 140 towed here. It's been sitting for 21 years but it has a lot of
neat
stuff (factory headrests, AM/FM, tele column, A/C,140, Sag 4 speed with
positraction). I'll keep you all posted on the adventure.

Have fun on Wolf Creek Pass!!!!!!
