<VV> Drive Your Corvair Day

It was a great day to enjoy driving my 66 Monza convert on Thursday. I
drove to work and received a few "thumbs up" along the way, which always
makes me feel good. At days end I had Seth E come by the office and we
proceded to head for the SFBA regular meeting night. Of couse we drove
the Corvair, who wants to ride in Seth's C6 Vette when you can ride in a
legend.
Traffic was fairly heavy at 6:15 PM so the ride was slow even in the car
pool lane.
I am afraid that Seth got his share of exercise reaching for the
imaginary brake peddle and bracing himself with the left hand on the
dash, but we managed to make the 25 miles with nothing more than some
hunger pangs.
The ride home was much more fun, for me, because the traffic was about
1/3, and it was dark so I could not see what I may have almost hit. Seth
appeared to be more calm also, so the return was OK.
