Thank you to everyone who responded to my query. I received a lot of useful
information. I've decided to go to Sears for Firestone P185/80-13s. I had to
order them online and they'll mount them at the store when they arrive later
this week. 

Without the information I received here, I might not have considered trying
Sears again. My sister called them for me a few months ago and, I suspect,
asked about P205/70-13s that were already on the car, not P185/80-13s. Of
course, the Corvair doesn't show up on their database (nor anyone else's),
so their initial response was that they didn't have anything to fit my car.

FIRESTONE TIRES. I didn't know if I could bring myself to buy another set of
Firestone tires. Years ago, I got caught in the Firestone 500 debacle. I'm
hoping that Firestone has figured out how to make radial tires since then.
