First off, thanks to those that responded.

I kinda like the idea of intermittant wipers on my RS, so I'd like to pursue
this. I like the possibilites of the set up offered by Newport Engineering
because it appears you can keep the stock switch in place.

However, their set up works ass-backwards to the Corvair system power wise.
Daryl at Newport would like to have a look at a Corvair wiper motor assembly
to see if it can be made to work.

Is there anybody near Washington, MO that might be willing to loan him a
wiper motor to have a look at?

Regards,
Joel

I don't have a wiring diagram in front of me, so I don't know which color
wire does what.

But, I can tell you the motor has the park switch. On two speed wipers with
washer, there are three wires from the motor assembly to the switch. Ground
one wire and you get low speed. ground wire #2 and get high speed. Ground
wire #3 for a few seconds and the wash solenoid engages, thereby holding the
motor on in slow speed and engages the linkage to the washer pump.

Years ago I came across this website : http://www.newportwipers.com/opt.html
I"ve always wanted to install intermittent wipers on the RS, and thought it
would be cool if it could be done and still look stock.

This system seems to provide for that, but I called the company today and
was told I need to determine if the switch or the motor in the corvair setup
determines "park".

A two speed setup has four wires running to the motor and two to the washer
pump.

What is each wire responsible for?
