<VV> CORSA CONVENTION / FLORIDA HEAT

I believe logic can provide that answer Dennis. CORSA is a family oriented
car club, and families usually include children. For the most part, family
vacation scheduling dictates that if you want families to attend, the
convention needs to be held between mid June and Mid August, when most
children wouldn't need to be pulled out of school to attend.

Yeah, the end of June might be a couple of degrees cooler, but does 1, 2 or
even 5 degrees make that much difference? And with the weather the way it
has been, even that's not certain. CORSA wants to have the International
Convention when the most people can attend.

The next question will likely be "why can't we have it in a cooler
climate?", and to that, all I can say is talk to the folks in the "cooler
climates" and see if they want to host the convention every 3 years. It's a
LOT of work, and if you've been on VV very long, you know that there's
always someone willing and eager to complain about some trivial little thing
that the host club may have overlooked.

The comments above reflect my opinions and may, or may not necessarily be
shared by members of the CORSA BOD or any other members of CORSA.
