<VV> Conventions in mid Summer

Here's an idea someone just faxed into me, why don't we have the convention
at different times of the year? No, not regional sanctioned events, the
real deal.

After two months of raucous complaining by the very people wanting change
about things changing, the armchair quarterbacks would overwhelmingly decide
things should stay the same, and nothing will change.

At least the people with the Fan Belt Toss in Orange County will get a
break.

Perhaps we should have the convention around a big holiday. Spring break,
maybe? Kids off school, people taking vacation. With more and more school
systems going to the all-year plan, extra weeks off are peppered around the
months, and the summer break is shorter. There is no good time to please
everybody. Not that we could.

What has changed with CORSA besides declining membership in the past 10
years? Let's think outside the box for a change.
