Corvair boxes are not in high demand anymore for new construction of street  
rods. most new rods are getting Rack & Pinion. They are still in demand  for 
replacement of boxes installed during the 1960's/70s Bucket-T kit car fad.  
Those boxes were, generally speaking, the 1960-62 Aluminum Corvair boxes. The  
street rodders take them apart and reverse the shaft out the front. Somehow it  
works. But they wear out in regular use. Was that the info you were looking
