<VV> Wheel cylinder sizes

Hi folks,

A quick question - late models will lock their rear brakes first  
under heavy braking conditions, is the same true for earlies?  One  
fix for a late is larger wheel cylinder pistons, as I recall there  
were different sizes stock for earlies (maybe the metallic lining  
option).  If the rears do lock first, has anyone experimented with  
different wheel cylinder sizes to remedy the problem?  Thanks for any  
info.
