Hi Larry .. just they guy to ask ... if you only run your corvair in warm,
... easy to start ... weather , couldnt a corvair Victim (g) .. just run one
wire, thru the dropper resistor, to the coil. IE, run it on 5 or 7 volts
all the time, including starting.

Especially with a 6 cylinder and plenty of dwell time to get the coil
charged real good.

*******
I did this when I rewired my Farmall M tractor, ( to 12 volts
conversion )and it starts * BAM * instantly even tho the lower start coil
input voltage.

********
Make rewiring a bit simpler.

OH OH .. just had a flash (g) ... maybe my Farmall example is not so good ..
maybe it has a 6 volt coil ( low resistance ) in the first place ... uh,
sorry, but still wonder if anyone ( Vair ) in warm weather is running only a
single wire thru dropper resistor ( ballast resistor ) .

thanks, ken campbell, middle west, idaway
