I don't see how any hydraulic parking brake can substitute for the proper e-brake. An e-brake is supposed to supposedly stop the vehicle in event of failure of the hydraulic system. a Line Lock won't do this. In most states a vehicle will not pass safety inspection without a proper emergency brake. Gary Swiatowy at least not in New York
