I think you'll find that the block side of the stud is 3/8" NC and the nut side of the stud is 3/8" NF. I have coupling nuts on my cars but another zero dollar approach is to take a rocker arm stud and cut the post off the top. This gives you a 13/16" hex that's spaced away from the pulley and easy to get to. Craig Nicol
