Hey fellas,
Let me elaborate on this just a hair... to add a bit more detail to Frank's
info, it IS for a 61, but it would be a 61 CAR engine, since the FC doesn't
have the dip stick hole... unless it's a 62-65 FC top shroud (with one hole for
the PCV system), but the dip stick hole wouldn't be on the FC shrouds...
:-)
But I'm with Frank on this...
The 60 & 61 bottom shrouds have a hole in the right one, for that road draft
tube to poke through...
Hope this helps!

It is for 1961. The 1960 shroud has a thermostat mounting area for the
one thermostat that controls the fan intake, IIRC.

The 60 and 61 have no PCV system, just a road draft tube, so no hole in
the shroud for the crankcase vent tube. This is, however, the reason the
cylinder baffles are not symetric on earlies (and maybe lates also), as
there is a large hole in the right baffle for the draft tube style
crankcase vent.

Did this come off the 61 Rampside you are parting out?

or ....., thanks in advance. I was thinking perhaps a 60.
