The Clark's sender I bought has a non-original round threaded connector for
the hot lead and a standard (flat) 1/4" male quick connect for the ground.
The wiring harness, also from Clark's, had the original bayonet-type
connector for the hot lead which is incompatible. I cut off that connector
and crimped on a ring and used a couple of brass nuts to secure the ring to
the sender.
