The most commonly used procedure involves driving up a long hill in hot
weather, then immediately coasting down the other side using engine
compression to slow you down.  Then a seat comes loose.

 

That simulates the approved shop method of heating the head in the oven and
shooting cold air on the seat to shrink it loose.
