Just remember that what one person considers an excellent car may be not that great for someone looking for a great car. A lot of problems may be "covered up". Look it over carefully so if it's not what you think you can blame no one but your self. I try to tell everything I know about a car when I sell it which isn't very often. Ken Clark

Of all of those Corvairs, how many were CORSA members? If the 2 "bad
apples" were the only CORSA members, that would be a bad percentage. If the two
were out of 15 or 25 then the percentages are much better. CORSA does not
have a morality requirement for membership (thankfully :^) ) so the number of
bad apples would be similar to the overall population.

Was the false info because the CORSA member didn't know or was it
deliberate misleading? There are many CORSA members that don't know everything
about their cars or they were mislead when they bought the car and didn't know
better.

You are correct, you should always know as much as you can about any car
you're buying, even if it's not a Corvair.

over the past few years i have bought 15 corvairs, and sold 10. the only
time i ever got false information was from 2 corsa members. did not say
anything because buyer beware applies to all cars bought.
