<VV> Con-fused and per-plexed

I am installing a Multiplex in my '66 Vair. The installation instructions
read:

"Step 7: Remove existing fuse from fuse panel and insert provided fuse"

Great, except this is not a situation where the fuse came with the Multiplex
Unit in a box along with the instructions

Radios in Vairs are 3 amp fuses. What is the proper fuse for use with a
Multiplex?
