One more point to thing about it that in our local club only about half the
members belong to CORSA, if we could get half of those non-members to join
in all of our chapters it would probably bring the membership back up to
it`s highest levels.
To me the Communique is the big draw, if it had more how to and owners
articles there would be more interest in joining. As I have said before the
grass roots of CORSA is members that have restoration and driver Corvairs.
While the members that race Corvairs really enjoy that part of the hobby
they only represent a handfull of the membership, ( no one of our local 36
member club races Corvairs ) the majority are not interested in racing yet
we have complete issues of the Communique devoted to racing, we need to get
back to the grass roots !
More attention is drawn to Corvairs and CORSA in the public when the
adverage member drives or shows their car at local car shows, think about it
!
