<VV> The Rising Price of Corvairs

YES! 

It is sad to see our favorite vintage vehicles go up in price. I, along with
many others "brag" that the Corvair is the least expensive vintage vehicle
to own and maintain. However, let's look at from another angle. 

 

If Corvairs are going up in price, that means they are going up in value.
That should also make them become more popular which should make our
membership, both the hobby and possibly CORSA pass on to another generation
easier. I remember selling my 70 Mustang 4-speed Convertible 24 years ago
for $3000.00. That was all I could get for it. I still know the guy who
bought it. He just sold it a few months ago for $35000.00. All he did was
maintain it in the same condition as I sold it to him. 

 

As the Corvair becomes more popular, our investments in them become more
valuable. I for one do not plan to sell my Corvair but I'm glad that its
value is going up. I just hope that I get real job soon so I can get the
wagon that I always wanted before they get too expensive.
