<VV> Early 50's Chevy- a little Corvair!

My Grandmother Had a 50 Fleetline Chevy 4-door until the mid-1960's. It is  
likely the first car I ever drove (illegally, of course). It had the 
reverse  pattern Powerglide P-N-D-L-R - You had to be very careful going for low 
gear!!  --But at least it had a "PARK" setting. unlike some other cars!
 
With the fastback design, my friends and I called it "The Stone-age  
Stingray!"

was a '50 4door sedan, and  then I got a '51 2door coupe ... so I learned 
the differences between the  years...  also, '49 to '52 Chevy made a 
"Business Coupe", which had a  different roof line (and no back seat) - 
my uncle had one of  those...
