Well, too much is going for free---that's for certain. Free Insurance for non members, free V V for non members, Free Website classfieds for non members?

go on over to www.rivowners.org---the site of the Riviera owners association.

On the left side of the page you will find a MEMBERS ONLY section, that contains much of the hard information (RPO's, paint charts, etc) as well as a host of other information

At the bottom of the page you'll see this

Attention Members: The current Members Only login and password are published in the lower left corner of page 3 in every issue of the Riview. They change with every issue. They are case sensitive, so be sure to enter them exactly as they appear. You will be prompted for the login info when you click on a link on the Members Only navigation panel.

The Riview is bi-monthly.

Not ONE REASON in the world why CORSA can't do this, other than apathy, or lack of testicular fortitude.

There was a Riviera e-mail list that was run by one of the Canadian members for many years. He got tired of being called names by people for various reasons and shut it down. The club now sponsors one on yahoogroups. But as things get worse in the economy, the ROA Board may find it worthwhile to set up the message board for members only.

No reason that CORSA can't say----Join VV for free for 30 days----If you like it, you have to join the club to stay on. Other than the aforementioned

Personally, I like the ability to be able to come across a problem, and after talking with local owners, or not----Put it up on VV for opinions from the group. Enough to make me want to remain a CORSA member. And in 15 days I won't be---but VV is still free.

CORSA is a non-profit organization, but it has to think about operatiing revenue.
Non-members would just lose out. Wanna Play? Gotta Pay! No issue for me, as long as everyone else has to, I'll do my part.

Oftentimes in the military you will hear the phrase "No BA**S, No Glory.
CORSA has to think in terms of "NO MON----NO FUN".

BoD----Time to grow a pair and sound off like you have them. Looking at the alternative---losing the Club---Is there really any choice?
