Maybe a Corvair powered boat could use a Corvair powered anchor?

Subject: <VV> Always look a gift horse in the mouth. Free 140HP engine

My buddy Pete Koehler e-mailed me and asked if I wanted a free 140HP
engine. He said he gave up trying to take it apart.
Hell yes, I can get it apart and save the heads, crank, rods, maybe the
cam. So he loaded it into his pickup and brought it back to MI from PA.
This engine looked like it was submerged in a swamp for 10 years!
After three days of PB Blaster, mineral spirits in the cylinders,
miscellaneous air tools, crow bars, brass drifts, cutting torch, big
f***ing hammers and a lot of swearing,
I can now say "I can't get it apart either". Several times my wife came
out to comment "what is that terrible smell?"
I am especially proud of setting the pile of swamp scum, oil, mineral
spirits, leaves, mouse nests, etc on fire today with the torch and
stinking up the garage while I was running around trying to find a
bucket to fill with water to put the fire out.
Anybody want a free 140HP engine? I might even pay you to take it away!

Ho, ho, ho and a merry Christmas to all, Clark Hartzel
